About Us
History:
Since Nov. 5, 1943, the members of the Vermillion Rotary Club have served the community and the surrounding area.
Benefits of Joining Vermillion Rotary:
- Learning more about Vermillion, the state, the nation, and the world through interesting weekly programs.
- Helping to improve local schools, community parks, food security, etc.
- Networking with individuals from throughout the community.
Signature Projects: Every year, Vermillion Rotary members contribute their time and money to support important community organizations, events, etc. Here a few examples of our support:
- Bicycle helmets for all second-grade students in Vermillion
- Books for all Kindergarten students
- Supporting Feeding Vermillion - Vermillion's Food Pantry
- Providing Scholarships for Vermillion High graduates
- Supporting the Community Connection Center
- Funding improvements for Rotary Park in Vermillion
- Supporting the arts, including Vermillion Community Theater, VHS Choir, and SD Shakespeare Festival
