Exchange Student Talks About Her Year in Vermillion

Today, Tayla, Rotary Exchange Student, treated the Vermillion Rotary club to a wonderful presentation about her time in the US. In addition to pictures of her many activities, she also read a great essay that she wrote about the Rotary Exchange program. My favorite passage said something like, "Exchange is not a year in my life, it's a new life in a year."

 

The top photo shows Tayla after her presentation posing with Rotarian Emily Sudbeck, who was an outstanding coordinator for Tayla's exchange. In the bottom photo, Tayla helps to celebrate her host-sister's graduation from Vermillion High School last Saturday.
