Proclamation for World Polio Day in Vermillion

On Monday, October 19, the governing body of the City of Vermillion proclaimed that October 23, 2015 would be designated as World Polio Day in Vermillion. A copy of the proclamation is located in the "Download Files" section of the website. World Polio Day is designed to recognize all the efforts that have gone into the fight to eradicate polio from the planet and to encourage everyone to do what they can to help finish the fight. Chuck Lubbers represented the Club and received a copy of the proclamation from Mayor Jack Powell. Lubbers is pictured below with the proclamation. We would like to thank John Prescott, Rotarian and former club President, for his assistance in obtaining the proclamation.
