Tim Schreiner joined the Vermillion Rotary Club today and provided a fascinating look back at his journalism career that began as a reporter for USD's Volante and took him to Sioux Falls TV stations KELO and KSFY, the Argus Leader, and then to out-of-state work for the USA Today, the San Francisco Chronicle and Oakland Tribune. After 20 years in news he turned to magazines and served as the editor, publisher and editorial director of various magazines and websites. Schreiner ended his career as a  Professional in Residence teaching at the Journalism School at Louisiana State University for two years before returning to Vermillion.
