On Saturday, August 21, the Vermillion Rotary raced nearly 600 rubber ducks in the Prentis Plunge water park. The ducks were shot down one of the large water slides and then with the help of the Prentis Park lifeguards were directed into the lazy river. The first three ducks to finish received a cash prize. The $2,700 raised will be used by Rotary Club to support projects in the Vermillion area. Our thanks to the Rotarians, friends and family and who showed up for the event. We also wish to thank the Vermillion Parks & Recreation Department, especially the staff of the Prentis Plunge, for all of their help.
